Moxie can adapt its input and output to suit your child. Feel free to choose the accessibility features that would help them out the most!
Limited Non-Essential Graphics
Moxie sometimes overlays its face with additional icons, masks, and other graphics to enhance the experience. This setting will remove those. System relevant information (e.g. loss of Wi-Fi connection) will still be visible.
No Sound Effects
This setting will remove unnecessary sound effects that Moxie uses during activities such as Tell a Story or reading to Moxie.
No Visual Effects
This setting will remove unnecessary visual effects such as confetti or sparkles on Moxie’s face.
Slowed Down Speech
This setting will make Moxie speak more slowly to improve intelligibility.
Input Frequency
Use the slider ranging from shorter pauses to longer pauses to adjust how long Moxie takes before responding. This can help Moxie better match your child's conversational pace.
How to Find Accessibility and Interaction Style Settings
1. From the Moxie tab in the Moxie Robot app, tap on the pencil icon next to the active child's name.
2. Tap Interaction Style & Accessibility.
