What is the difference between owning a Moxie and having a subscription?

Much like smartphone plans, Moxie is purchased as a device with a separate operating subscription plan.

A subscription is required to operate Moxie and provides a whole host of additional benefits including over-the-air updates of new features and content as well as access to analytics in the Embodied Moxie Parent App and gated sections of the G.R.L. child portal site.
