Moxie will begin talking to, and learning from, your child on its own. We've also included some helpful phrases that you may use during the session as you deem necessary. Your child can also find these phrases in the user guide and mission book.
1. "Hello Moxie"
This phrase can be used to bring Moxie out of standby mode.
2. "Moxie, Please Go to Sleep"
This phrase can be used to send Moxie into standby mode when your child wants to end their current session with Moxie.
3. "Moxie, Please Wake Up"
This phrase can be used to wake Moxie up when Moxie is dreaming after being rebooted. (See Playing with Moxie! on page 5 for additional guidance.)
4. "Moxie, Please Do Something Else"
This phrase can be used to end the current activity that Moxie is doing with your child.
5. "Moxie, Please Listen to Me"
To get Moxie out of earmuffs mode or to get Moxie's attention, say this phrase so that Moxie will listen to you or your child again.
6. "Moxie, Earmuffs"
If you would like to have a conversation with your child that you don't want Moxie to listen to and respond to, this phrase will let Moxie know to put on "earmuffs."
7. "Moxie, Please Hold On"
This phrase can be used to get Moxie to stop speaking if the content needs to be paused.
8. "Moxie, Please Repeat That"
This phrase can be used to get Moxie to repeat the last sentence that it said.
9. "Moxie, Please Speak Up"
This phrase can be used to increase Moxie's volume.
10. "Moxie, Please Speak Softer"
This phrase can be used to decrease Moxie's volume.
