Moxie will automatically receive new software updates, but to ensure the software updates completely you should be aware of the following notifications and when to reboot your Moxie.
If you have the Embodied Moxie Parent App push notifications turned off for your device, you can find these alerts in your messages on the account tab of your app.
1) "Update Starting" This is the first notification you will receive as Moxie begins downloading the new software. Be sure to keep Moxie powered on during this process and connected to your WiFi. Your child can keep playing with Moxie, even while an update is downloading.
2) "Update Ready" This is the second notification alerting you that Moxie has completed the download and needs to be turned off and back on (rebooted) for the update to take effect. This can be done through the app by clicking on the "Reboot Moxie" button in the message. You can also do so by physically turning Moxie off and back on by the power switch on the bottom of Moxie's base.
3) "System Updated" This is the final notification in the software update process, confirming Moxie is running the latest content, and no further action on your part is needed.
If you would like to see what software version Moxie is currently on, you can check at the bottom of the Moxie tab in your parent app under Moxie Version. Clicking "View" will open notes on what the latest update includes.
