Setting up Moxie: Face Icons
These are various face icons that are separate from interaction and module icons that appear on Moxie’s face that you will see when setting up Moxie.
1. Any “WiFi Connecting” Operation
2. Booted but Needing WiFi
- You will need to connect Moxie to the local WiFi network via the parent app the Moxie is linked to
- Note: We do not support hidden networks. If your Wifi is a hidden network, you will need to unhide the network to successfully connect Moxie
- If you are running into issues connecting to WiFi, see Icon #9
3. Booting Up or Transitioning from WiFi App to Main Running State
4. “Cloud Waiting” State - Shown when you don’t have an OTA or can connect to WiFi but can’t connect to the cloud for some reason
5. Pair Moxie QR Scanner
6. Pairing/Restoring
7. Success (Usually after WiFi connect)
8. Unpairing
9. WiFi Error Code 0 (Please contact customer service for support)
- Both the wifi network name (SSID) and password are both case sensitive, so please also double check that your network name has been entered with the correct capitalizations as well.
- Rebooting your WiFi router may help ensure a successful connection
- There should be a number that displays under the "X" indicating a connection error:
- 0 means the SSID input was perfect, and there is likely a password or other failure
- 1 means SSID came close enough but wasn't an exact match. This is usually because the SSID was hand-entered and a mistake was made. For this error, we recommend allowing location sharing in the app so the SSID can auto-populate, or re-enter the SSID until you get a 0 result
- If other numbers appear, contact our support team at support@embodied.com
